Iodine

by Haven Kimmel

Enter the world of Trace Pennington - bizarre!  When they said 'delusional, psychotic, and brilliant', I guess they meant it.  Trace is strange and lives in a strange world.  She will explain it all to you.  For me, this character is so strange, she might as well be from a different planet.  If you are into English literature studies, you might benefit from the many quotes and readings from well-known psychologists like Freud and Jung, as well as other works of  literature.  But even you, may wonder at the detailed comparison of the guns owned by her brother and her father!

I do not know anything about Haven Kimmel, the author.  Do you?

From book cover:

"Delusional, psychotic, and brilliant, Trace Pennington has made a home for herself in an abandoned house while finishing her senior year of college.  Having endured a painful childhood, she is fiercely independent and highly withdrawn.  When she falls in love with her literature professor, a man who knows nothing about her true identity, Trace is forced to confront the ugliness of her past."
